Our contribution to a controlled event budget

With our easy-to-calculate event packages, budget control for your event is child's play.

On this website you can choose from 14 different catering packages. The more guests attending, the cheaper the package. Simply enter your number of guests and the package prices will change automatically.

Culinary delights at your event

Experience first-class culinary delights at your event, because the catering at an event is one of the most important factors to remember. 

Our catering team will professionally take care of the set-up, cooking and service. For example, a fillet of beef for 400 (or more) people is cooked to perfection and served with unparalleled efficiency.

For the dishes created by our Culinary Director Martin Liefeith, we consistently receive ratings of well over 90 out of 100 points.

Hotel
3* Superior and 4* Boutique

We round off our service package with the 3* Superior Trafo Hotel in the congress centre itself (81 rooms) and the 4* Boutique Blue City Hotel (30 rooms) directly opposite.

This means that your guests can stay overnight directly on site without having to travel long distances to a hotel further away. This not only makes travel and transport easier, but also simplifies the overall organisation of your event.

Your guests can relax and concentrate fully on the event without having to worry about accommodation.

Swiss Whisky Festival 2025

From 24 - 25 October 2025, the Swiss Whisky Festival will be held for the fourth time at Trafo Baden.

To coincide with the festival, our popular Whisky Pop-Up Pub will open again this year, under the direction of Executive Chef Dave Otto. We look forward to your visit!

Wine & Dine "La Rioja"

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, our fourth exclusive culinary event of the year will take place at Trafo Baden. This time under the motto Wine & Dine "La Rioja - The Wine Soul of Spain".

The menu will be prepared by the Trafo kitchen team under the direction of Executive Chef Dave Otto. The wine pairing takes place in collaboration with Edvin Wines in Aarau.

New Wine Director

The Trafo Baden is receiving expert support in designing its range of drinks, both with and without alcohol.

Markus Utiger is the owner of the consulting firm ‘Tanninreich’. At the age of 27, he was the youngest graduate of the Austrian Wine Academy and has more than 20 years of knowledge and experience in the wine and catering industry.

On the same day, our latest project for assistants was presented and unveiled. The Swiss Admin Professional Forum - a Swiss platform with an international audience.
